Design Sculpture in Wood is a custom cabinet shop owned and operated by Ricardo and Joanne Vasquez.
For the past 25 years DSW has been designing and creating unique custom furniture and cabinetry that satisfies a client’s requirement for functionality while adding beauty to their home or office environment. Our work is not about our egos but rather about our client’s needs and wishes.
We work together in both the designing and building processes. Because there is direct communication between our selves and our clients possibilities for misunderstandings are reduced. Client’s develop confidence in our ability to produce what they want.
We know we have been successful in a project when we hear

We believe that commissioning custom work is an opportunity for clients to
join us in the creative process, exploring design possibilities, wood and
finish choices. It should be a time to breakaway from mass produced sameness.
We think this process should be stress free and pleasurable. Rewarding
to both artist and client.
We work with hand selected quality woods and veneers, incorporating metals, glass and stone as needed by the design. We believe in the value of old-fashioned craftsmanship but avail ourselves of the latest techniques and materials to produce truly outstanding free standing furniture and built-in cabinetry.
